56 Chevy Bel Air "Priscilla".

With 23,000 original documented miles, this 56 Chevy nicknamed "Priscilla" was appraised for a client in Melbourne Australia. Based on our evaluation of the vehicle, we negotiated a fair price and aquired Priscilla for our client.
    Once the vehicle was in our posession we began major upgrades to suit the new owners' needs. One wish the client required was the ability to tow a caravan (travel trailer) to Hot Rod shows where the caravan could be parked and Priscilla driven in to the show. For this we fabricated a custom "Hide-Away" towing system where the Main Receiver can be removed for "show" purposes. We also fitted an Air Bag system with hidden control panel for better handling while towing. Check out the video on the right!
    Other upgrades include; 2" Drop Spindles and Leaf Springs, Power Disc Brakes, front and rear Sway Bars, 4 brl Intake and new Holley Street Avenger Carby, 700R4 Transmission with auto lockup, custom Driveshaft, 2 1/2" Exhaust System with H Pipe and Flowmaster Mufflers, and Power Rack and Pinion Steering. We also refitted the radiator in front of the core support (in the 6 cylinder position) to allow space for changing to a long water pump with a Corvette Clutch Fan Assembly.
    UPDATE - Priscilla made it safe all the way to her new home in Melbourne Australia. She will be doing her first wedding in September with two other 56's - the first of many I think!  As soon as I get a photo of her towing the new caravan I will put it here for everybody to see.
